Hello, my name is Brian Bins, and I'm so happy you've found us! I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but I've rolled and tumbled my way around the country and beyond since graduating from high school. I completed my undergraduate degrees at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and then attended dental school at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky. Afterward, I attended a 1-year advanced education residency program at the ATSU Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona. I then moved back across the country for work, with stops in Bloomington, Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin before following my now-wife to Richmond in 2022.

Dentistry has blessed me with opportunities to volunteer and further my education in places far and wide, with stops in Noyau, Haiti; Quito, Ecuador; Bethel, Alaska; Cancun, Mexico; and courses and clinics stretching across every time zone in the United States. In 2023, I was designated as a Fellow within the Academy of General Dentistry, which can only be earned after completion of at least 500 hours of post-graduate continuing education and passage of a board-style certification exam covering all aspects of dentistry. As a general dentist, I strive to offer a bit of everything for my patients, but I am particularly interested in digital dentistry, surgery, implants, and cosmetic restorations. 

When not practicing dentistry, my wife Jiyeon and I are usually out playing pickleball, trying a new restaurant, or spending time with family and friends - our chiweenie Taco is never far behind. After years of commuting to other towns and communities for work, I am beyond excited to be your neighborhood dentist.
